Nicole only knows how to live with animals - for her there is no other way. Since she can remember animals have been an integral part of her life and both her parents have encouraged her passion from the very start. She wanted to do veterinary nursing from the beginning, but unfortunately after applying several times it was just not meant to be.

She had an opportunity to work for the Blue Cross Veterinary Hospital in Newlands, Cape town in 2007 after being a qualified beauty therapist for four years and after that things just seem to fall in place! She was mentored by Karis Bryen of "Happy Dogs" in which she learnt a great deal and then later on did a course in canine behavior and training by COAPE.

Nicole lives with two rats, two cats and her dog "Imogen" which she handreared from one day of age, as her mother was run over and the puppy was found near the scene - suffice to say they are pretty close. Imogen "assists" Nicole in classes with puppies that bully the others around in class and with other difficult dogs.

This year Nicole plans to do her international advanced diploma in animal behavior through COAPE in order for her to further her knowledge in the field that she feels very blessed to work in!
