Along the way Louise became fascinated by dog training techniques which are based on learning theory, and which utilise the clicker as a training tool -  even though most field trialers at that time used the more traditional methods of training.  

Louise currently conducts classes in Hillcrest, Kloof and Durban North/Glenashley.  For the past 4 years she has worked for Matthew Berry's Boavida Canine Lifestyle Centre, collaborating with him in designing and running training programmes for pet obedience classes and puppy socializing classes. Louise recently passed the Canine Culture Puppy Course with merit and is currently in the process of completing the Canine Culture Adult course.
